Built-in Dresser

Have been working on misc. stuff.  The ladder is done but could use a few more coats of finish.  Then started on the dresser.  I wanted to have a built-in dresser in the right side of my closet.  I’ve never built something like this before and with all the mistakes I’ve made I think I’ve now done it at least 4 or 5 times.

The bottom section is done except for a bit of trim and varnish.  There are 3 large drawers there.  The top section is in progress but will be a lot easier than the bottom.  It will have 6 sections that can hold 2 plastic milk crates each, front to back.  I plan to use the front milk crates to store socks, t-shirts, etc. and the back ones to store less frequently accessed things like towels.

  1. Are you going to use fun knobs or handles? Who gets to pick those out?

    • They need some kind of knobs or handles because the drawers are pretty big and a bit heavy…so, start picking out some options for me.
