Floor framing finished

Thanks to some great help from my grandson Jordan Denny this weekend, we finished framing the floor.  All sections are framed, the bottom covered with pressure treated plywood and they’re bolted down to the trailer and we even managed to frame the porch area and get that bolted down.  Now it’s ready for the spray on foam insulation which hopefully will happen this week.

Jordan using the nail gun to attach the pressure treated plywood to the bottom of the floor.

No, that’s not a Monk…it’s Jordan temporarily screwing the framing down after it has been squared in preparation for gluing and nailing the plywood in place.

From the back end of the trailer…the closest section will be the 4′ x 9.5′ covered porch.

Really scary. I hope Jordan is not as accident prone as his uncle!

  2. He’s an excellent helper, works hard and jumps in to help without being asked…I never would have finished the floor framing this weekend without him.
